THE NEW AMERICAN DREAM FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
TNADF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2016 by the Bacelar-Palmares Family. It serves as the philanthropic branch of the Tribuna Newspaper, a trilingual publication founded by the family in 1999.
OUR VISION
We envision a vibrant community where immigrant stories are celebrated, and cultures and generations come together. By embracing our diverse heritages, we foster connections that unite us. We see a future where every generation thrives together, sharing experiences and building relationships that honor our past and pave the way for a brighter future.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to celebrate, inspire, and support immigrants and their families across generations, recognizing that our community is shaped by people of many backgrounds and experiences. We expand access to education, healthcare, civic engagement, and community support in the Greater Danbury area, fostering belonging and opportunity for all.
Our Goal
The New American Dream Foundation's goal is to promote our nation’s rich immigrant history, highlighting the cultural, social, and economic contributions of immigrants of all generations. Each immigrant wave that has come to our state and our community has made contributions from which we all benefit. Immigrants of past generations have paved the way for immigrants of today.
Although the paths they have taken to reach our country may differ, they share a common goal—The American Dream. TNADF celebrates, supports, and inspires immigrants to achieve their dreams.
MEET THE TEAM
"The foundation is vehicle to create meaningful change for generations of immigrants to come."
