THE NEW AMERICAN DREAM FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
The New American Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by the Bacelar-Palmares family as the philanthropic arm of Tribuna Newspaper, a trilingual community publication established in 1999.
Rooted in our own immigrant experience, we understand that building a new life requires more than determination. It requires trusted guidance, access to opportunity, meaningful connections, and a community that recognizes the value of every immigrant story.
TNADF supports immigrants and their families across generations. We help newcomers navigate unfamiliar systems, assist families during times of crisis, expand access to healthcare and education, support aspiring citizens and students, and honor the earlier generations of immigrants whose contributions helped build the Greater Danbury community.

Our mission is to celebrate, inspire, and support immigrants and their families across generations. We expand access to education, healthcare, civic engagement, community navigation, and emergency support, helping individuals and families build stability, pursue opportunity, and find belonging in the Greater Danbury community.
