Helping immigrant families understand, access, and navigate healthcare

IMG_0431 2_edited.jpg

Accessing healthcare can be difficult when someone is uninsured, unfamiliar with the system, facing language barriers, or unsure where to turn for help.

TNADF provides multilingual health navigation and casework to help immigrants, their families, and their descendants connect with appropriate healthcare and community resources. We help people understand their options, prepare necessary documents, communicate with providers, and take the next steps toward receiving care.

Healthcare Navigation

Our team helps clients move through a healthcare system that can feel complicated and overwhelming. We identify barriers, explain available resources, assist with documents and applications, and connect clients with trusted healthcare providers and community partners.

TNADF does not provide medical advice or make medical decisions. Our role is to help individuals understand the system, access available resources, and remain connected to appropriate care.

Mission Health Day

Mission Health Day is an annual event providing free health screenings and essential services to adults who are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing housing instability.

Since 2017, TNADF has partnered with Danbury Hospital and Nuvance Health, now part of Northwell Health, to help make this event possible. Through proceeds from our annual American Dream Awards Gala and other charitable support, TNADF has contributed more than $130,000 toward Mission Health Day and expanded access to care for community members in need.
